Umakers is a "Makerspace" or "FabLab". It is a community based workshop/membership club for artists, DIY'ers, inventors, small business and entrepreneurs. We are on a mission to democratize access to the tools of innovation. Over 500 Digitial Fabrication Labs(FABLABS) and 1000's of " Makerspaces" or have already opened around the world.
The concept is not new, just new to the Upland/Claremont, CA area.

America is looking down the barrel of population collapse
a strain on the tax base and intergenerational tension as a smaller proportion of workers has to shoulder the tax and work burden of caring for a larger population of retired people.
